Art Melbourne was amazing! Such a great vibe over the four days - really a great forum to showcase Sally's canvas works, make some great sales, and catch up with friends and family. What a successful show and now a Solo show is on the Horizon at Yering! Blake and Sally Adams were asked by Yering to create some specific pieces for their stunning restaurant private event space the Devaux Room, and lounge area. We wanted to create something for their magnificent five and a half metre long table that would showcase the natural vine product that grows at Yering's famous vineyard. Beautiful skeletal pinot winter vines form the base of two boats that float as a pair on the table, and our second piece mimics a floral form on the round table in the dining area. Art Melbourne starts this week with opening night
on Thursday 24th May Sally's beautiful stand (S7) is filled with stunning botanical and abstract canvas works. I would love to see you there, come and see inspirational pieces by innovative Australian artists. It was wonderful to be invited to exhibit with Camart during Art Melbourne.
Held at Camberwell Girls Grammar in August, it was a great weekend and the venue was fabulous. 24 - 27 May 2012 Royal Exhibition Building, Carlton
This is a taste of the botanicals that are a part of Sally's exhibition. Other works will include Sally's abstracts (a sneak peak of those when the paint dries!) Please join me, I would love to see you! Stunning small affordable works right up to incredible statement pieces. Such a buzz to be a part of it all, wandering around the space is super exciting and inspiring. Don't miss it! Stonescape $1250 1m x 1m oil on canvas Being a finalist in the Castelaville Art Exhibition at Stones in the Yarra Valley has been a huge highlight for me this year, and led me to create a piece that captured my connection to Stones. This piece has led to future gallery space exhibitions and a wonderful connection to the local arts scene. |
